A few weeks ago I discovered a North Park Trivia Game card set in the Archives. It was created during the Centennial celebration of then North Park College in 1991 and brought to the 106th Covenant Church annual meeting held in June, nearly twenty years ago when the game Trivial Pursuit was all the rage.
Some of the questions are twenty years out of date, such as this one, "What was the last building constructed on the North Park campus?" So, think back to 1991. What was the last building constructed at that time? It was actually Magnuson Campus Center, built in 1965. The campus has come a long way since that time.
Now onto the next question. "Who was the first dean of North Park?" If you'd like to venture a guess, post it in the comment box. The answer will appear later in the comment section and a new question will follow in the next blog post.

ANSWER: North Park's first Dean was Axel Mellander. The Seminary Library was named Mellander Library and at one time occupied the third floor at Wallgren Lilbrary. The books from that collection have been integrated into the general collection at Brandel Library.
